The other day my friend asked me if I had a senior bucket list. She was assuming that I had one, but I didn't. It really got me thinking; there are some things that I have wanted to do around TLU and Seguin that I have been putting off for three years. With that thought, I have decided that I will make my senior bucket list and I will do all of the things on it. I'm sure some of the activities on my list will have been thought of by some of you, so I will keep you updated about my experiences:
1) Get my palm read. I have always wanted to go and get my palm read at the palm reader across Court Street; I have no idea what to expect from that, but I will definitely let you know.
2) Skydiving. As stereotypical as it may seem, I really do want to go skydiving, and what kind of bucket list doesn't have that on it?!
3) Take a picture from on top of the library.
4) Figure out the mystery of the ghost in Wupperman little theater. I have heard lots of stories about her, but it would be interesting to get to the bottom of that.
5) Climb a Seguin water tower, with legal permission, of course.
6) Slip and slide on the library lawn; I think that will be cool.
7) Run, and I actually mean run, the Bulldog 5K on Homecoming weekend.
8) Dance in the color-changing fountain.
9) Pet a squirrel. They are all over campus, so I'm sure I can find one to pet.
10) And on a more serious note, I would like to start something at TLU that will continue here after I graduate.
These are just some of the things that I am going to try and accomplish during my time left at TLU. If anyone has anything else they would like to see me try, go ahead and let me know. I'm not going to go absolutely crazy, but I'm willing to put myself out there and try some new things before I graduate. I'm up for the challenge. Just send your suggestions to me at nnzuniga@tlu.edu.
