Q. As a sophomore how has college been for you so far?
A. It's been a crazy trip. It has definitely been a new experience in a lot of ways but i've enjoyed every minute of it. I've learned more than I ever thought I would inside and outside the classroom so I wouldn't trade these years for anything.

Q. How's the season overall going?
A. The season overall has been a good one despite our injuries and common colds but when it comes down to it, whoever is running does their best for our team and represents TLU well by running their best race.

Q. How have the practices been for you?
A. Well how would you feel having to get up at 5:30 a.m. ever morning to get to practice at 5:45 a.m.? To be honest it has all been worth it in the end because we have each other every morning and every afternoon to keep each other going.

Q. How has Coach Zarate been for you and the team as a whole?
A. He's a great coach with really high hopes for us. He sees a lot of ambition in all of us and wants us all to do our best and that's all he asks for.

Q. How do you balance between school and practice?
A. It's a balancing act, but I get it done. If practice interferes with anything to do with school it is always school first and our coach understands that.

Q. Do you feel over the course of the season you have become closer with your teammates?
A. We have always been close since my freshman year, and the freshman this year have fit right in with everyone. We're cross country runners and unless your one of us you'll never understand why we do what we do. I love all the girls and we're always there for each other no matter what.

Q. How does your game schedule look from here until the end of the season?
A. We just had conference on Nov. 1 and we got 4th so since our Regionals meet will be hosted here at TLU as our coach has decided to put in seven runners. Our regionals meet is Nov. 15 and nationals will be two weeks after that.
